Blast To Zero
Theme: Countdown
This is a short 1–2 minute game built around a drag-and-release movement mechanic. Blast yourself around the arena and hit all the hidden targets in the correct countdown order (21 > 20 > 19 > .... > 1).
Controls:
-
Left Click (Drag & Release) to blast jump
-
Right Click (Drag & Release) to shoot
Key Notes:
-
While dragging, slow motion is applied for precise aiming
-
You are limited to 4 blast jumps, which reset whenever you land on a platform
Best played full screen
Thoughts:
I did not managed to complete the stuff that I had in mind and had to wrap up with whatever I had. The firing control would definitely be better if it was a click to fire instead of drag and release though. Maybe...? Hope you enjoy~
Updates:
There's feedback that the game play is tough without mini map for finding the targets. Hence, I thought it would help players who are trying this prototype by providing a simple overview on the placement of the targets so that you can enjoy the whole game.

Yay, I did it! But I finally managed it with the help of the map
The idea is great and the theme is wonderfully interpreted
The shooting feels rich and enjoyable, with all the effects, sounds, and slow-mo
The aiming seems a bit buggy and doesn’t always point directly to the cursor
The most annoying thing is that you can’t see the platforms you’re falling on. A common problem with platformers. Either move the camera a little further, or highlight the landing spots somehow
If the background weren’t solid, at least a simple pattern, or better yet, several layers, since the game is 3D, it would be absolutely stunning (the current screenshots are deceptively unattractive)
Overall, the gameplay, level design, effects, and sounds are superb! I liked the gamefeel and the challenge
It would be nice if the game revealed next number, so I don't have to remember which one was which :D. It was really fun to play
That's a good idea! I didn't considered that. Thanks for playing~
